Head Teacher/ Assistant Teachers/ Aides

– A Bachelor’s degree in ECE/ Psychology/ Child & Family or related field and 3 yrs of experience for Head Teacher
– An Associate’s degree in a child-related field or equivalent and 1 year of experience for Assistant Teacher
– A CDA for Teacher Aides
– Able to work a full time schedule M-F, 7:30am-6:30pm
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with classroom set-up knowledge
– Excellent classroom set-up and management skills
– Organized, self-directed, enthusiastic
– Multilingual a plus with excellent communication skills

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

– Plans, prepares and presents lesson plans to students and correspond with parents
– Commitment to a quality and progressive teaching philosophy that encourages an intercultural understanding of our world (knowledge of Creative Curriculum preferred)
– Clear and ambitious vision for defining a strong curriculum that will shape the school through its formative years
– Maintains order and discipline in the classroom conducive to effective learning and supervises students in a variety of school related settings
– Monitors appropriate use and care of equipment, materials and facilities
– Confers with parents and students regarding progress/problems of assigned students; arranges and participates in teacher -parent conferences as necessary
– Performs other related duties as assigned

 

Program Coordinator

– A Bachelor’s degree and administrative experience for Program Coordinator
– Able to work a full time schedule M-F, 7:30am-6:30pm
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with classroom set-up knowledge and management skills
– Organized, self-directed, enthusiastic
– Multilingual a plus with excellent communication skills

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

– To provide leadership in the development, implementation, and annual review of preschool curricula and programs
– To assist in the planning, implementation, and annual evaluation of the program including lesson plans, daily schedules
– To be knowledgeable about current ideas, trends, methods, programs, and materials related to early childhood and preschool education
– Lead and supervise teaching staff to ensure that children needs are met
– Liaison and maintain a supportive and proactive relationship with families
– Design and maintain instructional materials/ curriculum, academic records
– Informs the Director/Management of student progress, teacher and other personnel effectiveness and program development
– Researches, plans, provides and coordinates in-service training programs for administrators, parents, teachers
– To perform other duties as assigned by the Director/Management including teaching/ subbing
